The ingredients needed to make Homemade Cranberry Sauce:
- Get 12 oz (more or less) fresh or frozen cranberries
- Take 1 cup granulated sugar
- Take 1 Orange peel or lemon zest
- Prepare fresh ground black pepper

- Put aside half of the cranberries.
- Add the other half to a medium sauce pan along with the sugar, peel and 2-4 tablespoons of water depending on how thick you prefer it.

- Add more sugar to taste, and salt and pepper.
