The ingredients needed to cook Veg thali:
  1. Take 1 bowl rice
  2. Use 250 gms ladyfinger
  3. You need 1/2 kg spinach, toor dal
  4. You need 2 tomatoes,
  5. Provide 2 each onion, garlic and green chilli
  6. Take as required Spices - salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder
  7. Take 1 tsp Cumin seeds

Steps to make Veg thali:
  1. Soak dal and rice separately for half an hour. Heat 4 to 5 tbsp of oil in a large vessel. Put cumin seeds and water. Let it boil and then put soaked rice. Add salt. Cover the lid. Leave it for boiling for 5mins.
  2. Heat half cup of oil in a cooker. Add garlic,onion and green chilli. Add dal and spinach. Add salt and turmeric powder. Cover and keep for 2to3 whistles to occur. Open and blend a little with a blender.
  3. Take another pan. Heat little oil. Put ladyfinger and add spices according to your taste. Mix and cover for 5 mins.
  4. Heat 2tbsp of oil. Add little red chilli powder. Add it upon ready spinach.
  5. Serve pure veg thali with roti, curd, salad and chutney. Enjoy
