- You need 8 - Pomfret fish slices
- You need 1 tsp - turmeric powder
- Get 1 tsp - Ginger garlic paste

- In a blender, add ginger-garlic paste, chilli powder, coriander powder, peppercorns, cumin seeds,tamarind water and grind it into a thick paste.(add little bit water if required).
- For tamarind water soak the tamarind in hot water for 10 minutes and then extract the water separately from the pulp.
- Now add rice flour to the fish masala and mix it well and coat the fish on both sides using masala.
- Marinate the fish for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Add 2-3 tsp oil in a pan and shallow fry the fishes each side for 2 minutes.
