The ingredients needed to prepare Fried tofu in lemongrass:
- Provide 1 packages firm tofu
- Prepare 3 tbsp chopped lemongrass
- Prepare 1 tsp salt
- Prepare 1 tbsp sambal chili
- You need 1 tsp tumeric
Steps to make Fried tofu in lemongrass:
- Open and drain water out of tofu package. Use paper towels to firmly squeeze dry the tofu. Any water on tofu will pop and splatter all over when frying.
- Sliver diagnally on one side of tofu, not too deep, flip and slice opposite diagnally on the other side. Optionally can make slits all around. Put on plate.
- In small bowl, add lemongrass, salt, hot pepper, tumeric. Mix well. Wear gloves to gently put mixture in slits of tofu. Tumeric will stain hands.
